  3. Lisa was THE nurse I remember vividly who helped our daughter, Olivia, during her first few rounds of chemo at CHOP as our lives were turning upside down. Lisa was a presence. She emanated light. And I wanted to sit down and have a cup of tea with her and learn more, but I instead asked about her family. All ai remember is that she mentioned that she had a child in Heaven...and I vividly remember how she said it so eloquently. Little did I know that I would too need to know how to say that when I was asked how many children we have...following the passing of our Olivia. I reached out to Lisa to let her know how much of new impact she made on me. To thank her. From one mama heart to another. And now she reunites with her baby. And I hope our Olivia found her as well. What a gift Lisa's presence brought to so many. An angel on earth who I am incredible grateful to have known.

And one of my favorite moments was when she put tape on that darn beeping IV pole so we could sleep!

Cheers to you, my friend. We didn't need to know each other long or well to make one incredible impact in a brief interaction. A life lesson.

With much love to Lisa's family and friends,
    Kelly
